Iconic Koru Diamond Studs
Inspired by new beginnings, growth and the natural beauty of New Zealand.
The Koru Studs were created during a very meaningful chapter in my life, when our family made the decision to move from Hong Kong to my husband’s home country, New Zealand.
After many holidays in Taupō, we had fallen in love with the New Zealand landscape — in particular the magnificent ponga fern. The koru, a spiral form inspired by the unfurling silver fern frond, is a beautiful Māori symbol of new life, growth, strength and peace. It felt deeply fitting as we began our own new chapter in Aotearoa.
Handmade in Hong Kong, the Koru Earrings can be created in 18k white, yellow or rose gold. Each pair is set with two 0.15ct round brilliant diamonds at the centre and hand-set with an additional 56 small round brilliant diamonds following the swirl design.
The original Koru stud measures approximately 10mm in diameter, a size that works beautifully on most earlobes. The design can also be custom made slightly larger or smaller depending on your preference.
Each pair is finished with strong and secure push-down backs, making them comfortable and practical to wear.
The Koru Earrings are elegant on their own and pair beautifully with the Fern Cuff, bringing together two designs inspired by the natural forms of New Zealand.
Custom made in 18k white, yellow or rose gold.
